We’re honoring our ancient heritage by creating new traditions.
Amar’e Stoudemire, Founder
Stoudemire Farms is a family-run operation in Dutchess County, New York, that practices sustainability with a deep reverence to the land and the wisdom of our ancestors.
Our pasture-raised Black Angus are ethically bred and lovingly cared for by farmers who recognize the spirituality inherent in the land. We are proud to produce the highest quality steakhouse cuts, alongside signature rubs and condiments.
With African American farmers comprising less than two percent of agriculture in America, we’ve dedicated nearly 200 acres to teaching the next generation about the legacy inherent in land ownership and the dignity in reclaiming food sovereignty.
One of our generation’s most celebrated Athletes, Amar’e Stoudemire has built a reputation off the court as an ethical entrepreneur and innovative philanthropist. Amar’e seeks out knowledge that cultivates self-awareness, strengthens bonds of community and deepens our respect for nature.
A six-time NBA All-Star, Amar’e played with the New York Knicks, Dallas Mavericks, Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns. Amar’e was Rookie of the Year in 2003, a Bronze Medalist with the USA Olympics Basketball Team in 2004, and in 2013, he took the Knicks to the playoffs for the first time in a decade. After his final season with Maccabi Tel Aviv in Euroleague, Amar’e is now seeking his MBA at University of Miami, and building programs for underserved communities with the Amar’e Stoudemire Foundation.
Amar’e founded Stoudemire Farms in 2015 to create a legacy for his children, and to raise awareness of the importance of building intergenerational wealth in the African American community.
